x-small;\"\u003E(I know- his original shield \u003Ci\u003Ewas not\u003C\/i\u003E round; but round is his iconic one. \u003Cspan class=\"st\"\u003EAll those who chose to oppose his shield must \u003Ci\u003Eyield\u003C\/i\u003E!\u003C\/span\u003E)\u003C\/span\u003E...\u003Cbr \/\u003EI can go on: It's like taking away Superman's trunks, or Wonder Woman's origin story, or casting Keanu Reeves And in my opinion- no real fan of the character would ever even dream of doing something like that.\u003Cbr \/\u003EAnd no, this is \u003Cb\u003Enot\u003C\/b\u003E me being \u003Cspan class=\"st\"\u003Enitpicky\u003C\/span\u003E either- they can make ROM as sleek, and skinny, and non-boxy, and Evangelion-looking as they want- \u003Ci\u003Ewhatever-\u003C\/i\u003E it's a \u003Ci\u003E\u003Cb\u003Ereboot\u003C\/b\u003E\u003C\/i\u003E: I understand that.\u0026nbsp;  But when I saw the first picture of the redesign on the cover to issue #0 and it had fingers?: That was a \u003Ci\u003EHUGE\u003C\/i\u003E \u003Cspan style=\"color: #cc0000;\"\u003Ered-flag\u003C\/span\u003E for me.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Ci\u003E\"They're not going to \u003Cb\u003Eget\u003C\/b\u003E this character.\"\u003C\/i\u003E -I thought.\u0026nbsp;  And after reading issue zero it looks like I was right to worry.\u0026nbsp; -Because they do not.\u003Cbr \/\u003EAnd they should be embarrassed to call themselves fans.  -Not because they gave him fingers... you're missing the bigger picture if you think that's all that's wrong here. And Seeker has a really weird-shaped-head\/helmet on top of all that! And I usually start with the head, sometimes a hand, and I just place it somewhere on the paper and fill everything else out around it as I go... \u003Ci\u003Ebecause\u003C\/i\u003E I do that: I often run out of room on the paper before I finish the full body, and something gets cut off.\u0026nbsp;  -So my Dire Wraith ended at the waist.\u003Cbr \/\u003EBut, it was just a sketch- no big deal.  I inked it to get some practice with that, and called it quits. Craig Russell's finishes were horribly lazy, and actually took much away from Ditko's art. \u003Cbr \/\u003EAnd that's the other thing- Ditko was not the \u003Ci\u003Eonly \u003C\/i\u003Eartist on his run (as you may have noticed on the captions.)
