So... does it make me a bad person if I couldn't stop laughing when I read this in Continuity Comics' Samuree Vol 2 #1: Possessed By The Rise Of Magic?

-Because I seriously couldn't stop laughing.

(A quick aside: Near as I can tell- Neal Adams (founder of Continuity Comics) scripted and did break-downs on this issue, with Peter Stone as the writer, and either Tristan Schane or Joe Schiettino on finishes?  I can't tell- noting is credited in this issue and what little information there is online is conflicting.

I know Ed Benes penciled the later issues...  If anyone can clarify; please feel free.)

Here's some dumb video:

    1. Ha! It was a rhetorical question.
...I'm like "Stop smoking crack, duh."
Man, I have no fucking idea what it was about... and I fucking read it. It's the 2nd in three volumes of Samuree: Mistress of The Martial Arts... And it only exists as part of their 20-part company-wide crossover: Rise of Magic. I have no other parts of this crossover, so I was lost. Samuree is barely in it. -She watches some rich guy, who is probably a demon, talk to the crack-head... That's it. It was so bad it bankrupted Continuity and they relaunched as Windjammer.

  2. the only thing i ever read from Continuity Comics was the first couple of issues of Armor http://suicidesquadtaskforcex.blogspot.com/2012/10/i-got-your-fu-splash-page-right-here.html
but damn that's some good work when it comes to drawing facial expressions.

    1. Nice! I've never read Armor... Just Samuree- because of Mark Beachum.

Yeah, Neal Adams works from photographs- so he has always been good with realistic facial expressions...

  3. Yeah I remember that page! such a crazy random panel to post, but it works in drawing your attention.
Aww Contnuity Comics...Neal Adams' deal. That's the same one where he did She-Bat too? I remember an ad or two from early issues of Wizard.

    1. I still chuckle at that panel, it's just eighteen-levels of stupid.
Yeah- Valeria, The She-Bat... Continuity, and then Windjammer. -She had a crossover with Spawn!

    2. Neal Adams is the shit if you look at his work in DC in the mid and late 70s it easily holds up quality wise to the great stuff of the 80s and 90s. even today it doesn't look very dated at all compared to what's being drawn today. now unlike a certain other artist who was ok in his time but should have hung up his pencil by the time the early 70s came along as far as i'm concerned.
