I've failed as your sponsor...
So, here's a bunch of porn that sad, lonely people searched for and accidentally ended up at my blog instead... for SOME reason:

Deathlok, Sleepwalker, Ghost Rider, Foolkiller, New Warriors... If they were ever on a Marvel "Rookie" Card- chances are; I love the fuck out of their comics.
Darkhawk by Danny Fingeroth and Mike Manley is no exception.

I like how Darkhawk/Christopher Powell had to figure out what kind of hero he wanted to be. His origin was not just: Learn my powers effortlessly and then save the day. It's more: 'I want to do good, but in doing so- what am I capable of dealing with? And what ways will work better for me?'

Bill Mantlo, The Spectacular Spider-Man?
Okay, so you all remember one of the big play-ground rumors back in the day, that you had no way of knowing wasn't true at the time, about how The Human Torch was replaced by H.E.R.B.I.E. in the Fantastic Four
cartoon because they were afraid kids would light themselves on fire. -Same thing was said about Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends having Firestar instead of Ol' Match-head.
There's also the one that seems to come up every few years- you'll hear about some kid who died after trying to fly like Superman and jumping off of a building/out of a window. (I first heard this one in reference to why the 1988 Superman cartoon was canceled.) I tried searching the interwebs to see if it has ever REALLY happened... and I could only find this one, rather recent, instance.
I only bring these up because I want them fresh in your mind...

You get what you search for! (NSFW)
~Once again I'm delving deep into the 'Search Keywords' that somehow accidentally brought people to my blog- to find out just what, exactly, they were actually trying to find.
Yes, it will probably mostly be porn.
"adam hughes she-hulk" is a simple enough one. Adam Hughes is one of my Top Ten favorite artists! (and it's a shame he doesn't do interiors anymore...)
Sadly- he has not drawn Speedball's favorite pair'o'boobs to motorboat much.
The first thing I thought of was that page from the old Marvel Swimsuit Issue. -The one of Namor in a banana-hammock.
-But then I thought of this one:

The Little Things in Spider-Man #305...
~Damn, I really miss Mary Jane... that's the first thing I really noticed when reading this old issue...
-Sure, some writers didn't know how to write her well- but when she was like this (by David Michelinie); questioning Peter's actions and spit-balling superhero strategy, but still being supportive... and even a tad 'redhead bossy' (as opposed to being a selfish, weepy, constant complainer as she was often cast) she was so awesome! And a great compliment to Spider-Man's overall character. -Because Peter is the only weepy complainer we need in the title...

-King's not home much...
~The Shroud is basically The Shadow of The Marvel Universe... that's pretty-much all you need to know about him for this post. Oh, and you may have noticed that I missed Monday's update. -Totally my bad. (Plus, I had to deal with this.) I won't be updating the blog as much in the next few weeks, either... new job, no time. Adjusting. -You know how it is.
So, anyways; here we go!:
So, anyways; here we go!:
Foolish woman! You cannot seduce The Shroud!!! He will laugh in your general direction...
-He is beyond the needs of the physical body, for he is imbued with the extrasensory perception of The Darkforce Dimension... that, and also... he's blind.
So... yeah. You could be Kate Upton, bitch- Shroud don't give a fuck!
(That's what she gets for trying to cheat on me, anyways.)

Speedball's back! To Bounce Or Not To Bounce-
-That darn cat...
I know I've mentioned how great this 6-page Speedball back-up story from The New Warriors Annual #1 is somewhere before... An old video? Or comment-section somewhere??? Anyways- that's not important...
I think that it's so entertaining that I've decided to just post the entire damn thing here so you can all check it out. -In honor of the All-New Marvel NOW! New Warriors relaunch:

Steve Ditko: Spaceknight
Sal Buscema is fucking great!
-But that has nothing to do with anything.
A friendly rebuttal to: http://romspaceknightart.blogspot.com/2014/01/the-emperors-new-clothes.html
-But that has nothing to do with anything.
A friendly rebuttal to: http://romspaceknightart.blogspot.com/2014/01/the-emperors-new-clothes.html
Let me explain: I love Sal Buscema's artwork. Always have. I have every issue of Peter Parker, The Spectacular Spider-Man that he drew, and have since a very young age. That's the title I was first introduced to him on. -And continued to get monthly from there...
I have every issue of any Spider-Man title he has worked on. And in my opinion; not only was Spectacular continually the best Spider-Man title, but NO ONE does Spider-Man (or his rogues) better than "Our Pal" Sal! I'm currently working on getting all of his Incredible Hulk issues. And of course- I have just about every ROM: Spaceknight issue... BUT just because I love Sal Buscema's art so much- does not mean I'm going to, or should, hate Steve Ditko's...
